Good Morning, Alpaca!!
Wow! It’s been a big last few weeks with All Hands, Mamma Mia, Packout, Snow Days, and so much good stuff! I have loved every minute of it, and now, it’s time for me to focus on finance and fundraising for a little bit.
This week, I am focusing primarily on fundraising. That means I'm going to be in Bach Mode a LOT, likely out on the dock where I can zone way in. If you're wondering what specifically I'm up to, here's what I"m doing:
Finishing the pro forma budget, hiring plan, and metrics for the year
Creating a data room where potential investors can go to learn everything they wanna know about investing in our company
Reaching out to existing investors with initial discussions about investing again
Reaching out to new investors - approximately 10-15 each day, to introduce us and try to get a meeting
Pitching to new investors over the phone when I'm successful at #1-4
This is the primary focus of my week, and that means that we're going to need a high level of AUDACIOUS AUTONOMY the next few weeks, friends! I'm here to help, but I need to stay laser focused, too. Ways you can help:
Stack meetings with me together so that I can find big chunks of time to focus
Draft anything you want me to write
Yell at me if there's something you need my review on or a decision on and it's holding you back from doing things
Find opportunities to keep the sales machine rolling! Outreach to single-pack customers, maybe? A new initiative to look for meetings around Illinois Vacancy Grant? A script for me to make a demo for us of Pulse? An initiative around super packs/ cold outreach? I don’t know! But I know you’re creative and it will be a HUGE help to keep things moving!
