For this week’s Team letter, I’m sharing our monthly Investor Update with you. I think it gives a good snapshot of where we are and where our focus will be in the coming weeks! Here we goooo!

Hello Alpaca Investors!
Happy May and Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!! This month, Alpaca's crew is focused on two things: shipping out our LAST packs of the school year, and selling new school districts for the coming school year! Here we go!

Sales
THE story of April is Alpaca is our change of sales motion to selling directly to school districts. In April we added 21 district level deals to pipeline, each of which is at least $1K in MRR. Our pipeline is FULL now -- and getting fuller all the time. Now, our goal is to close these deals!
Currently, we've delivered proposals to the following districts:
Lincoln Public Schools
Westside Community Schools
Crete Public Schools
Ralston Public Schools
Logan View Public Schools
Arlington Public Schools
Hampton Public Schools
Freeman Public Schools
Beyond these proposals delivered, we are booking meetings every day. We've experimented with a cold outreach to superintendents at small districts, and it is WORKING! We've booked 5 meetings and 3 of the above proposals on that outreach. Pretty fun to see superintendents get excited about Alpaca!
If you're interested, attached is our dashboard that we're working from to track our pipeline growth. Now, it's time to close some deals and see our schools and teachers grow for the coming year.
Marketing
In marketing, we've been shifting our website focus toward districts a bit, with the launch of this new page!!! https://www.alpacapacks.com/districts
We're ramping up a big campaign during Teacher Appreciation Week for more school nominations, and then lining up several conferences and outreach opportunities for this late summer/ early fall!
Pack, Partnerships, and Events
Our April pack was SUCH a fun collaboration! We partnered with the brand new (and SUPER fabulous) Kiewit Luminarium to bring a fabulous STEM-focused pack to teachers, and they LOVED it! Beyond this, we will be hosting a year-end Teacher Celebration together with Kiewit Luminarium on May 16th.
