Happy Thursday, Alpaca Team!
Wow — what a week! New hires, big sales energy and the biggest thing — the launch of the Little Wins Library!
Product launch days are one of my favorite things in the company, because we get to celebrate our team and support our customers with something new all at the same time. This project was an absolutely huge undertaking, and required some new systems, new thinking, and a reimagining of Alpaca’s free resources.
There are SO many “little wins” that the team achieved with this library. Every resource has been rebuilt to be more useful for busy school leaders. Each one now helps leaders know upfront how long it takes, how much effort it needs, and who can run it. You can preview a whole resource on the site before you download anything, and grab just the printable pages when that’s all you need. New photos show real educators using these resources in real buildings, helping us achieve our core values to “tell stories” and “elevate every educator.”

We also made those resources more searchable and relevant to the time of year and “moments” of a school leader’s work. So whether it’s Back to School, the Mid-Year Slump, Testing Season, or a hard day nobody planned for, there’s a resource for that!
One of our early testers called it “like a Google for school leaders.” Another said it was “a unified resource of all the things I need to build culture in my building, and supporting my teachers.”
Why it matters at Alpaca
Why are we investing in a free resource library for educators? There are two reasons:
We want to strengthen the actionability of the Alpaca Pulse platform for Alpaca’s school and district customers. In Alpaca Pulse, we connect the things that teachers say they need the most to simple, actionable ideas for school principals. Now, those actions are linked to these new resources, which can be saved and accessed easily all year long.
We want to build trust with school leaders who are not yet our customers. Alpaca is kind of a new concept for a lot of education leaders — there aren’t that many “school culture platforms” out there, right? So providing free “little wins” to leaders who don’t know us yet is the way we introduce ourselves and begin a conversation about strengthening school culture together.
When one product launch can support both of those goals, an extraordinary opportunity arises. And I cannot wait to see it all in action.
